Avis charts road trips on their blog

Corporate Social Media Case Study: Avis

Avis car rental company has a blog where they write about plans for the company, new cars in the fleet, and share holiday and business travel tips. The company also has a blogger, Rob White, who goes on road trips and writes down the route taken, sights that he took in, and highlights of the drive, all organized by day.

The road trips take place in different countries (so far he’s covered New Zealand, the United States, and the UK) and include pictures, thoughts, recommendations, and tips. The posts also have maps of each journey so you can see where Rob is traveling, how far he is going, and how long it takes to do the trip yourself.
