While Best Buy doesn’t have an official corporate blog, Barry Judge, the company’s CMO, uses his blog to share insights into the company and its marketing strategies.
One of the unique things Barry does is share upcoming TV spots with Best Buy fans, explaining the thoughts behind the commercials and asking for feedback.
Here’s how Barry describes it:
Our January TV ads (see January ad post to view them) were the highest scoring ads we have ever received on key metrics like “Persuasion,” and “Clutter Breakthrough” to name a few. They also effectively landed our key message of our people as Best Buy’s competitive differentiator.
These February ads also scored very well in copy testing on these metrics. I am interested to hear what you think.
