Carnival Cruise Lines' social network allows cruisers to share their vacations with friends
Corporate Social Media Case Study: Carnival Cruise Lines
Carnival Cruise Lines created “Carnival Connections” as a social networking site for cruising enthusiasts, one time cruisers, and visitors new to cruising. Users can coordinate group cruises, research Carnival trips, write reviews, and create a “scrapblog.”
Scrapblogs — online scrapbooks that let users share their vacation experiences with others — allow users to share pictures, videos, and graphics of their cruising experiences with friends, family, and other scrapbloggers.
Carnival Connections features a different scrapblog on their site each day and gives viewers the option of forwarding them to friends.
