Michelin's mascot gets his own Facebook page

Corporate Social Media Case Study: Michelin

Longtime fans of Michelin’s plump, all-white, sash-wearing Michelin Man can now befriend the tire maker’s mascot on Facebook. The fan page launched earlier this fall along with Michelin Man’s YouTube channel as part of their new campaign, “The right tire changes everything.”

Fans of Michelin Man get the first peeks at new commercials and are invited to help the brand design their traditional ads through surveys. Since joining the social network in early October, the Michelin Man has already earned over 2,000 fans and keeps a pretty active page.
