Microsoft's Ribbon Hero supports friendly Facebook competition

Corporate Social Media Case Study: Microsoft

To encourage users to boost their Microsoft Office skills, Microsoft has created Ribbon Hero — a game that rewards players points for exploring different features of programs like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Players have the option of connecting their Ribbon Hero points to their Facebook profiles where they can compare scores with friends and — after hitting various milestones — publish their accomplishments to their News Feed.
