Quiznos turns to their fans for advertising

Sandwich chain Quiznos recently launched a contest to promote their new Toasty Torpedo sandwich. The contest, hosted on ToastyTorpedo.com, invites fans of the chain to submit photos or videos of them eating the sub “in an unusual place or while doing an unexpected activity.”

In a statement, Trey Hall, Quiznos marketing chief, said, “We believe social media and interacting with our consumers in this way is really important to our brand and is in many ways, the wave of the future.”
