Samsung asks Twitter followers how they'd use new technology

Corporate Social Media Case Study: Samsung

Samsung recently introduced the ST550 digital camera with dual-LCD display technology, allowing users to take photos with the touch of a screen.  From August 14 through September 8, Samsung used Twitter to select 25 ST550/500 winners as part of their “Tap and Take” contest.

Several thousand contestants tweeted about how they planned on using the new Samsung technology, and those who submitted the best ideas won a camera. The company posted five winners every five days at TapAndTake.com.
