Corporate Social Media Case Study: Nokia

A corporate blog is a great way to provide the outside world with a peek “behind the scenes” of a company.  Describing themselves as “a bunch of guys who break phones for a living,” the folks behind Nokia’s UK testing and reliability labs recently gave an in-depth look into how they put their phones to various durability tests in a series of blog posts.

This works well for a number of reasons:

  • It reveals the amount of research that goes into developing the product
  • The videos show the product getting beat up (and often surviving!)
  • We’re brought behind the scenes, which is always cool
